State of the farm...

We've been enjoying a warmup lately, that's enabled us to catch up on some outdoor projects. With temperatures in the 40s most days over the past week, it's been much easier to keep the animals watered. We've had four litters of piglets born in the past several weeks, and farrowing and keeping the litters warm is much easier with the warmer temperatures.

We are pleased to announce that our processing facility in Monument has been granted provisional inspection by the USDA. We can now cut and wrap pork, lamb, and rabbit under inspection by the USDA. We process our own meats in this facility using our own recipes, and can also do custom work. We do not slaughter, however, just cut, wrap, cure, smoke, and make sausage.
